Republication Guidelines - EDHEC Climate Institute

EDHEC Climate Institute aims to encourage the circulation of research-based insights and expert perspectives on climate and finance.

Selected articles published on ECI Insights are available for republication free of charge. This applies only to articles explicitly marked “Available for republication”.

For online and print publications

You are welcome to republish eligible articles, provided that you follow these guidelines:

  • Keep the article substantially unchanged. You may adapt the headline, standfirst, internal links, date or references to time and place where necessary. Any substantive edits to the text should be agreed with EDHEC Climate Institute before publication.
  • Credit the author and their affiliation. The author’s name and institutional affiliation should be clearly displayed, preferably at the beginning of the article.
  • Credit EDHEC Climate Institute. Please state that the article was originally published by EDHEC Climate Institute and, for online republication, include a link to the original article on ECI Insights.
  • Do not sell the article. Eligible articles may be republished on websites that carry advertising, but the article itself may not be sold or syndicated for a fee.
  • Keep republished articles freely accessible. If your website operates a paywall, the full republished article should remain accessible without a subscription.
  • Check image rights separately. Permission to republish an article does not automatically include permission to reuse photographs, illustrations, charts or other third-party material. Please check the copyright information accompanying each visual or use your own.

Excerpts and quotations

You may publish an excerpt from an eligible article, provided that you credit the author and EDHEC Climate Institute and link to the full original article.

You may quote from our articles in accordance with standard editorial practice, with appropriate attribution and a link to the original article where applicable.
