Catherine Tubb, Team Lead of ClimaTech, EDHEC Climate Institute

Catherine Tubb, PhD joined EDHEC Climate Institute in 2025 and is currently Team Lead for the ClimaTech project, which researches strategies and technologies for corporate decarbonisation and physical climate-risk mitigation. In particular, she is leading the work to expand the database from infrastructure to corporate assets, developing a scalable assessment framework across the global equity universe.

Before joining EDHEC, Catherine worked across the boundaries of finance, sustainability and technological disruption. She spent ten years as an equity research analyst at Bernstein, where she developed investment research and financial models across sectors including chemicals, oil and gas, luxury goods, insurance and metals and mining. She subsequently held senior research roles at RethinkX, Planet Tracker and Synthesis Capital, focusing on sustainable food systems, textiles, natural capital, technology adoption and disruptive innovation. Her work has supported investors, companies and policymakers in understanding how emerging technologies and sustainability pressures can reshape markets.

Catherine holds a PhD in Organic and Computational Chemistry from the University of Cambridge. She also holds an MSci and MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and the CFA Certificate in Sustainable Investing.
